varyContractTerms Deprecated for InstigateContractVariation

Deprecation Notice

The varyContractTerms mutation had to be deprecated, and it has been replaced with instigateContractVariation.

From a user perspective the behavior is exactly the same!

The instigateContractVariation mutation accepts all of the same inputs, and returns the same outputs. It processes a synchronous contract variation upon request.

Removal Date

The varyContractTerms mutation will official be removed on February 27th, 2026.
